FACT: they are SCAMS..!
Hello my dear Friends…
It’s me Feron for my first post for 2010.
Well, I would like to invite everyone to read this piece because what you will learn here might be beneficial for your own good.
While browsing and hopping I came across with this…

It says that 97% of online opportunities are “SCAMS”!
It really made me sad and rattled, you may ask me why? Simply because during the holidays I was able to meet my friends and lots of talking and everything possible in brain storming… happends!
When asked what I’m busy with aside from my full time job, I told them that I’m busy doing my chores on the Net.
One of my friend told me to be cautious of what I’m doing because according to him he will NEVER, never touch the keyboard of his computer to log on again.
According to him he Upgraded his memberships in three (3) opportunities that ended his career on the Net.
He lost more than $ 400.00 which is a big amount if we are going to convert it in our local currency… it’s a month salary of a supervisor. And what aggravates the situation, after he pays for upgrading he never even gets a confirmation that they received his payment. Accordingly, he tried to follow up and send emails but received nothing in return.
That’s too BAD for my friend!
I am sharing this to all so that we can avoid what happened to my friend and the phrase I’ve read that 97% of opportunities on the net are scams is really alarming and might be our end too if it would happen to us.
For this year 2010, I am hoping that all of us will start the year right and that we are going to give more time investigating a program that offers juicy returns on our investment.
Friends… Happy 2010 and God Bless Us ALL!
This is Feron saying bye-bye for now…

CAREER SCAMS ON THE RISE
Vulnerable Job Seekers Losing Thousands to Glib Bunko Artists
New Novel with Entertaining Storyline Shows How to Avoid Getting Scammed
ATLANTA, GA: “The retail side of the career marketing industry has exploded since the 2008 economic crisis” says Zane Smith, author of Retreads: A Business Novel Exposing How Predatory Career Marketing Firms Scam Unemployed Job Seekers. “Unfortunately so has the number of scams. Dishonest firms in the business charge job seekers (most of them older and out-of-work) thousands of dollars in up-front fees, then fail to honor their ‘guarantees’ to find them jobs, or put them directly in touch with executives of hiring companies as promised.” Honest firms providing genuine career advisory services find their reputations tarnished by such frauds.
Smith is a former career marketing executive, so he has an insider’s understanding of the business. Nowadays he investigates, writes and makes presentations on scams. His articles on health insurance and hospital billing scams have appeared in leading magazines and newspapers. Scambusters, a book he wrote uncovering sixty common scams and how to prevent them, was published by HarperCollins in 2006.
Smith is seeking ways to pass on this important information to job candidates before they get stung. So he’s turning to career professionals and appealing for their help. If you have any ideas they would be most appreciated. You can contact him through his website’s blog, or directly at ScambustersUSA@gmail.com .His new book Retreads received rave reviews from those who know the field best: career professionals. You can review their comments and add your own to Smith’s blog and website at http://s2.webstarts.com/jobscams/

This is so true. It really is a buyer beware jungle out there. Good advice is to remember that old saying, “If it sounds to good to be true…It probably is”. Take care my friend. ;o)

I wonder if there’s some blog completely dedicated to exposing scams. Maybe you could make something like that lol, with guest posts and experiences.
